摄影师北野谦(Ken Kitano),1968年出生于东京,毕业于千叶的日本大学数学工程部。2007年,作品曾获得第16届 「写真の会」賞(The Society of Photography Award),2013年,作为文化厅派遣艺术家国外研修员,在美国生活工作一年。

居住在洛杉矶,他的创作灵感源于美国西岸风光摄影的丰厚历史和实践,“Now, Here, and Beyond”系列作品围绕人、自然和行星运动轨迹的关系展开,沿袭了2007-09年,他在日本拍摄的“One Day”系列的拍摄概念。从日升到日落,他使用4×5画幅的负片和长时间曝光(曝光时间通常需要一整天),观望和拍摄太阳和月亮在天际中运动的轨迹。
