– Rachel Bradley
Artist Rachel Bradley born in Pennsylvania. ”Departing from a background of traditional b/w photography, I abandoned the camera and darkroom as my primary artistic medium in 2006 in favor of a different approach. Using found objects, assemblage and handcraft, Hellboxes series have emerged. Hellboxes are containers for my obsessions: for salvage in a throw-away society, for telling stories and preserving memory and personal history with the objects that define our lives. On the street, at work, day in and day out, I collect objects: small, shiny things, discarded lists, lost toys, colorful wrappers, dead leaves. Utilizing containers of different sizes and materials.” - Rachel Bradley

Ling studied computer science in university, then went abroad in Australia to do a master in digital multimedia, but realized later that he was more suitable for art design. The most recent job he’s had is being a digital art director in the advertising industry. After doing a lot of commercialized work it is nice to do something that you like, and he’s grown up enjoying plant-related things. He once went to 12 flower markets during a holiday and made quite a few discoveries. The things that are good in life are often not hidden on purpose; it’s just that you haven’t discovered them yet.

Sylvain-Emmanuel Prieur
”Here is a color based project related to hasard & photography. A special attention hold during my travels surrounded many occasions to catch ‘fake twins’ situations. The tourism conditions we all have to deal with, deliberately or not, during our journeys, carry a very specific garment equipment away in order to face the long days of unknown landscape’s exploration. Not only talking about the almost mandatory sneackers, or rucksacks (but why not), people often happen in a situation wearing exactly the same outfits, or at least one very similar item in it. Couples buying a special jacket for the occasion, friends hasardly wearing the same stuff that day, whatever… In order to focus, and reveal those inherent situations, i started to take photographs of the ‘fake twins’ i met during my trips; people’s back as a more accurate point of view, centered in the frame; and i related them with the specific color worn, to explore the whole RGB spectrum at our disposal.”
Sylvain-Emmanuel Prieur lives in Paris, studied art history and architecture and works as an interior designer. He’s also a very talented self-taught photographer.
