爱尔兰国宝级摄影师Bill Doyle（1926 – 2010）被誉为爱尔兰的布列松，多年来，自学成才的他用黑白影像捕捉爱尔兰阿伦群岛人们淳朴而原始的生活方式。然而，与快门不停按的布列松的相异之处在于，他是一位非常珍惜昂贵胶片的“one-shot”摄影师。

阿伦群岛，在这片堪称世外桃源的岛屿上，当地的人们一直使用爱尔兰语，并遵循从旧时沿袭下来的生活方式，安静而悠然。Bill Doyle自1960年代以来拍摄的大量阿伦群岛渔民的生活剪影，均收录在《The Aran Islands: Another World》一书中。

Bill Doyle, who passed away last year at the age of 85, was often referred to as Ireland’s Cartier-Bresson and had a knack for artfully capturing the scenes of the world around him. During his trips to the islands, he was able to photograph many of the people and their daily activities and in 1999 a collection of these pictures were published together in a single volume titled The Aran Islands – Another World.

当亲人离去时，你会怎样排解痛苦寻找慰藉，会用怎样的方式来怀念和他在一起的时光？“在母亲离开之后，我天天翻阅她的照片，流泪不止，我多么希望时光可以倒流，让我多一点时间陪在母亲的身边。从我看到她气若游丝的那一天开始，我就有一种想要进入她相片的强烈愿望，我想要做她的监护人，照顾她，提醒她要小心什么，为了可以留住她”，意大利艺术家Moira Ricci说。于是她把自己打扮成母亲那个时代的样子，悄悄的溜进了母亲的相片中。

Italy artist Moira Ricci is working in the field of photography and video, and by basing her works on her own experiences and emotions her themes of family relationships and identity are often universal. “This series didn’t come up from an idea but rather from a strong desire to go back in time and stay with my mother. I kept looking at her pictures, i couldn’t stop. All i wanted to do was to be inside of one of them and be with her. From the day I saw her lifeless body I have been trying to enter in her pictures in a way that could help me in removing that image from my head. Transferring my own figure in my mother’s photographs I had the illusion to be with her, take care of her as her guardian, and warn her on what could happen to avoid her death. Therefore I did my hair and I dressed up in order to silently disguise myself and become part of the picture. So I could slip into my mother’s past in search of an intimate and eternal space for us.” – Moira Ricci

绿色植物围绕的民居，经年累月沉淀的古董，充满生活气息的绿植装饰，把这些连结起来的人是东根康仁。“契机是源自做绿色咨询师的打工工作，当回首再审视时，才发现已经无法离身，随后独立，展开创作”这位绿色大叔如是说。从Gardening Gallery P・TWO开始，店铺的设计、施工到建言等多领域跨界发挥创意。随后将店更名“东根康仁景观调整事务所”，并从关西神户的芦屋转移到神奈川县的叶山，以关东为中心，辐射全日本。虽说是公司，却是生活漫溢的家庭氛围。以他独自的平衡感创作“美绿”，既用心感受的生活之美。钵盆的放置方式，泥土的搭配，植物的选择，树形的修葺，无不展现着他的思想，他手下的绿植与其说是作品，不如说是为生活增添的曼妙乐符。（撰文_Will）

2001年，在挪威的一个小村庄Tessanden里，居住着一对兄弟Harald和Mathias。虽然两个人都已是耄耋之年（那时候，Harald今年75岁，Mathias已经80岁了），但是他们仍在为一家电厂工作，一个是伐木工人，另一个是工匠。他们每天的工作就是劈柴、搬运木头和烧木头。他们每周都会去一趟当地的超市，把包里塞满日常所需的食物。  

Mathias曾经在奥斯陆工作过2个时间，但是他一点也不喜欢那里。Harald在利勒哈莫尔的一个宾馆里度过了他有生以来最痛苦的一个夜晚。这么多年来，他们在小村庄里过着规律而安逸的生活，日复一日。尽管Mathias有一次说，变化始终都在发生，不过这些变化可能会在某一天终结——当房间里有一个有活水的室内卫生间。在寒冷的一天，气温只有零下20度，Harald因为哮喘发作而病逝。Mathias在这座房子里孤独的生活了3年多之后，他搬进了Vågå的养老院。Mathias在2007年去世。 

这样的生活方式在当今的挪威几乎已不复存在，只是永远的留存在了摄影师Elin Høyland的底片上。

When Elin Høyland heard about two elderly brothers, Harald and Mathias Ramen, living together in Tessanden, a small hamlet in rural Norway, she approached them to see if they would collaborate with her on a photographic project about their lives. The result is a fascinating and warmly human study of a way of life that has now almost entirely disappeared.

Harald (75) and Mathias (80) had always lived on the smallholding in which they were born. Neither had married. Mathias once worked in Oslo for two months, but hadn’t like it, whilst Harald spent one night, ‘the worst of his life,’ he would say, in a hotel in Lillehammer, some three hours away. They’d worked for an electricity company, as loggers and also as carpenters, but now much of their time was taken up just managing firewood for their home. As Harald said, they chopped wood, carried wood and burned wood. At least twice a day, they also fed wild birds in the twenty bird boxes that they monitored. Their days followed a predictable and comforting routine. In their free time they listened to the radio or read the local paper. Little changed from year to year, though Mathias once said that changes were happening the whole time and it would probably end up with them getting an inside toilet with running water. Harald died from an asthma attack while shovelling snow in conditions of –20ºc. Mathias continued to live alone in the house until he moved into an old people’s home. He died in 2007.

Minä Perhonen was established on 1995 by Akira Minagawa, from the hope to make “special daily clothes”. Their fabrication process begins together with the sketches of original textile.
